Symi (or Simi) is a unique island with rare architectural tradition and therefore was declared as a conservation village. The main port on the east side of the island is located in a quiet bay surrounded by hundreds of homes with mediterranean colours like indigo, ochre and terracotta, which are living the impression of calmness versus the rugged and imposing cliffs of the island.
